An EasyJet flight from Hurghada to Manchester was thrown into chaos when the pilot collapsed mid-air. Thankfully, the co-pilot managed to land the plane safely in Athens, but not before a tense call went out for any medically trained passengers on board to assist.
With a screen pulled across the cockpit and the passengers visibly worried, the plane touched down with emergency services waiting.
Kudos to the co-pilot and crew for averting a disaster and easing the passengers’ palpable anxiety. Yet another reminder of how quickly aviation challenges can arise. Safe journeys, everyone!
