Amazon has launched a new feature on Alexa-enabled devices in the UK designed to help children fall asleep. Titled "Tumbles and Stripes," this bedtime story incorporates scientifically-backed techniques, including specific language patterns and sound adjustments. This comes amidst reports that 25% of UK parents struggle with bedtime challenges, affecting their own sleep and stress levels.
Developed with Vogue Williams and sleep expert Professor Helen Ball, this feature aims to ease children's transition to sleep. Through their Echo devices, parents can also integrate the use of brown noise and smart home gadgets for a calming nighttime routine.
